I am trying to play around with HANA on AWS. I have got a HANA instance created on AWS and got public IP address according to the blog posted by Juergen Schmerder. I then downloaded the HANA Client and HANA Studio. When I am installing the Client and Studio, I am facing an installation error where it says it cannot install Microsoft C/C++ runtime. I have attached the snapshot for your reference.
I initially installed a version 1.00.20.355749 and tried to update with the version 1.00.32.363548, but its throwing this error. I even downloaded a new version of Microsoft C++ resditributable sp1 x64 and tried to install but its throwing me error.
I tried installing the HANA client of previous version i.e.,1.00.20.355749. It threw me error with respect to ODBO installation saying cannot update ODBO package and register MDX provider. It would be great if somebody could help me through. Thanks.
