Is there an existing lifecyclemanagement role, or other possibility or solution, to facilitate the situation outlined below?
Our HANA-developers, mainly working in SAP HANA Studio, don't have access to the webbased SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Management (HALM) tool. When they are developing and transporting content, it will frequently happen that they don't have an overview of dependent changes which will exist in the OTAP and which will block their changes. As a result, it often happens that a GoLive is jeopardized by these dependent changes. In that context we'd like to provide the overview of these dependent and blocking changes. I was thinking to myself to give the developers access to the HALM, where they can use the button Start Transport for existing delivery units/products. However, it's at least not desirable that they can really execute the transport.
In other words; how can we show our developers the insight in outstanding changes like the screenshot below? Then they know which changes of other developers are jeopardizing their changes. The should NOT be authorized to actually import the outstanding transports!
