SAP HANA without BW

Hello all,

Need few suggestions from experts.

I am interested in self-learning SAP HANA. I found few very useful and informative threads regarding 'where to start to learn HANA'. To my knowledge HANA is a relational DB which in future may replace BW.

My concern here is if I start learning HANA, do I find it difficult to grasp without BW knowledge? Will BW be a pre-requisite to start HANA?

I have seen few documents such as TZHANA, TZH300. Can I start with these docs?

I am looking for the technical part of HANA. Also, I have good knowledge on ABAP.

Please suggest.
