Dear Experts,
Fo every 2 days once, we're getting "Memory Shortage" issue in our HANA Database. Always, we have to restart the server in order to free up the memory space.
Can we set the parameters values like "statement_memory_limit" and "statement_memory_limit_threshold" in global.ini configuration file?
In the past, the value "10" was already assigned for parameter "statement_memory_limit" and now I set the value "90" for parameter "statement_memory_limit_threshold".
We have "global_allocation_limit" value 64 GB. It means that, once the HANA memory usage reaches 57 GB (90%) then the expensive statements are aborted?
Actually, the value 10 did not work to abort the statement after it exceeded the 10 MB memory usage. Are there, still any other parameter settings by which we can restrict the memory usage?
