HANA DB Upgrade path

Hi,

Currently our HANA DB is with Revision 85.0.

We want to upgrade the DB to 94. As per the information provided in the 1948334 we can update the DB from 85.1 & 85.2 to 94.

Wanted to know whether DB Update path from 85.0 to 85.1or85.2 and update to 94 is mandatory or can we update it from 85.0 to 94.
