We are trying to restrict sensitive data in our HANA system. The data is so sensitive that some of the HANA consultants shouldn’t have access to. The data is placed on SAPSID schema (The BW schema) and we are building information models on top of it.
1. Is there a simple way to give our HANA consultants authorization for all the tables in SAPSID schema except few tables? The only way I know is to grant them authorizations for the tables they are allowed to see – In SAPSID schema it means thousands of tables!!
2. Does it also mean the developers shouldn’t have _SYS_BI_CP_ALL? Will they be able to develop information model this way? Which authorizations should we give them?
