I am searching for ways to automate the process of Backups in our SAP Hana SP08 Database. Intension is to run a script via cronetab that takes backup of the Data and Config Files and store them onto the shared network drive. I was able to successfully mount the network drive onto Hana box, I have a script to move the data and config files to the network location but i have not been able to take data backups via script. There is a SAP note 1651055 that i used as reference but i dont think it is valid for SP08 as it didnt work for me.
Can someone send me a shell script that i can use to take backups of Data files?
